Return Eligibility

You may request a return or exchange if:

  • The product is damaged during transit

  • You receive an incorrect item

  • The product has a genuine manufacturing defect

To be eligible:

  • The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery

  • The product must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging

  • All tags, boxes, and invoices must be intact

  • You must record an unboxing video to verify the defect

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and safety considerations, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

  • Items purchased during clearance or sale

  • Customised or personalised jewellery

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling

As a brand committed to quality, we encourage customers to review product details carefully before purchase.

Exchange Policy

If your return request is approved:

  • You may choose to exchange the item for another product of equal or higher value (price difference payable).

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.

We aim to process exchanges within 5–7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Refund Policy

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed under the following conditions:

  • Approved returns due to damage or incorrect shipment

  • Order cancellation within the permitted cancellation window

Refund timelines:

  • Prepaid orders: Refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval

  • COD orders: Refunded via bank transfer after receiving bank details

Shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.

Reverse Pickup & Return Shipping

  • In case of damaged or incorrect items, Kanak Taara Jewels will arrange a reverse pickup wherever serviceable.

  • If reverse pickup is unavailable in your area, customers may be requested to ship the product back. Reimbursement of courier charges will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Returned products must be securely packed to prevent transit damage.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order or before dispatch (whichever is earlier).

Once dispatched, cancellations are not permitted.

Important Notes

  • Minor color variations may occur due to lighting and screen differences.

  • Slight irregularities are natural in handcrafted or oxidised jewellery and are not considered defects.

  • Products showing signs of wear, perfume exposure, water damage, or tampering will not qualify for return.
